My original ear hook was torn and I was able to replace it with the new one I ordered. Was fairly simple to do, just had to take my time. I was lucky I did not have to separate the earbud in half to make the fix. I just had to tear the old one off and heat up the earbud to loosen the glue that helped hold it in place. I followed the installation guide that was provided by the seller. Used crazy glue to help seal it

Also the best way, in my opinion it to separate the two halves, remove the screw, and figure out the metal clip (that part was not clear).
