I used this to place a single double head anchor nearby to replace that. My only real "complaint" would be that it's a 3/4" socket (less common size) that didn't seem to fit a hog ring. So you might need adapters/extenders. Which can be a pain in already tight spaces like under a home...

The life of the adapter when used with an impact will depend heavily on ground conditions. We have had customers use them under their conditions with good success, but yes, impacting will eventually cause the adapter to fail. We recommend using our FCAT tool if many anchors (>20-30) are intended to be installed. Our FCAT will not cause fatigue failure of the adapter and can achieve heigher effective torque values while using less energy.
