Herzog Zwei for Sega Genesis is an action RTS game that features both single-player and multiplayer modes. Players operate a dynamic mech, which serves as both a utility vehicle and a combat machine. Capture as many outposts as possible while keeping control of the home base. Manage money and resources to keep units efficient. Wage war on different planets to defeat the enemy in progressively difficult levels. Tackle terrains such as snow, lava and water while on a mission to defeat the evil overlord. The game doesn't end there; players can continue the fight against each other on a vertical split screen.
