Flinthook is a side-scrolling platform shooter that follows the adventures of the titular character. As Flinthook, players battle the pirate lords of the Cluster Clan and their minions with a pistol and the power to slow time. The protagonist is also armed with an anchor that allows him to latch onto gold rings and quickly propel himself. Each level is a procedurally generated pirate ship featuring random enemies and treasure to collect, such as relics, lore pages, and perk cards. Players can improve Flinthook as well by purchasing upgrades and equipping various perks.
