Acerca de este producto
Product Information
In Metroid Prime 2: Echoes for the Nintendo GameCube, players once again take on the role of heroine Samus Aran. However, instead of hunting Metroids, this time she sets off to destroy the Ing on the planet of Aether. The Ing come from a dark parallel version of Aether and have already started destroying Galactic Federation ships. Samus must travel between the two versions of the planet to destroy these creatures. However, the Ing aren't the only enemies Samus will have to fight. Her old nemeses, the Space Pirates, also make a return, seeking revenge on her for past defeats. In addition, Samus will have to contend with a new villain, the evil Dark Samus. This twisted version of the heroine has all of her powers but none of her morals. This action-adventure game is set in an open-ended world with gameplay focused on first-person shooting. However, in true Metroid fashion, there is also puzzle solving, platform jumping, and general exploration elements. As you explore, you'll find a variety of weapons and items that will help in your quest. Classic weapons like the Boost Ball and Screw Attack return. The game also features new items like the Dark Beam and the Light Beam. You'll need to use these items to not only destroy your foes but also to progress further on the map.The two parallel dimensions in this world impact one another. Anything that changes in one dimension is often reflected in the other. This title requires both the light and dark dimensions to be explored if you want to progress. While you'll explore similar areas between the two worlds, the dark world significantly changes the game. The dark mist that permeates this universe is damaging to your character. It will require you to find safe zones of light to stay alive. Metroid Prime 2: Echoes is full of secrets that often lead to extra health and ammunition. It will take gamers 17 hours to complete the main story. If you hope to complete all aspects of the game, expect to take around 25 hours to accomplish this feat. The graphics in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes push the console hardware to its limits. One unique aspect of the title is that the screen is shaped like the character's helmet. This creates the illusion that you're wearing her helmet. The helmet also displays all the information about your heroine, such as her energy and missile count.Metroid Prime 2: Echoes offers a multiplayer option. Up to four players can combat one another across six different arenas. Multiplayer is divided into two modes. In Deathmatch, your goal is to destroy your opponents. In Bounty, it's to collect more coins than your opponents.Prime 2 has a rating of T for its use of animated bloodshed and violence. Retro Studios developed Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. The publication Nintendo Power listed the title as one of the best GameCube games available.
