I sent note about this misrepresentation to seller-it has been more than three weeks with no response from seller despite using same system to contact them as they answered to before. Would not use this seller as they are dishonest.

It's a new phone, in original packaging, that was manufactured several years ago. I had a helpful email exchange with the seller. I would not hesitate to buy something from him in the future. Since my current iteration of this phone seems to be working, still, now that I've installed new batteries, I haven't actually used the new phone.
