This new edition, featuring John Leech illustrations shows why this work still appeals.', Few readers need introduction to Charles Dickens's great Christmas classic of Ebenezer Scrooge, his dastardly treatment of his employees and family, and his "ba-humbug" attitude towards Christmas--all changed by a nightmarish sleep of visions of past, present, and future. Although numerous other editions of this book are in print, few are as lovely as the Green Integer edition, edited from the original 1843 edition and corrected by Douglas Messerli. The book will be available for Christmas 2001.
