Fortunately, there was enough material for two attempts, because my first attempt left too many air bubbles. The job of applying the sheet was made more difficult because of how tightly it had been rolled up for shipping. For my 2nd attempt, I cut the sheet 5-7mm too big for the plate, then slowly applied it, smoothing down as it went along. Then trimmed to the size of the plate.
