Welles' debut feature was a revelation, if not a huge hit, and is still remembered today as the greatest film ever made. Yet, Welles' career was plagued with clashes between the filmmaker and studio heads and inability to raise funds to make many of the movies he wanted. This off-Broadway stage adaptation of Welles' life and troubled soul is performed by Marcus Wolland.
