The NETGEAR CMD31T-100NAS 153.6 Mbps Modem has over 150 Mbps download and upload speed, making it easy to stream HD videos, download files and other content faster, and participate in high-speed online gaming. This cable modem also supports IPv6, a very strong, secure version of the Internet Protocol (IP). The NETGEAR CMD31T-100NAS 153.6 Mbps Modem is compatible with most U.S. Cable Internet Providers such as Cablevision, Charter, Comcast XFINITY, Cox, Time Warner Cable, and more. It is also CableLabs certified, which means that the device has passed a series of tests for compliance with applicable specification. It has demonstrated interoperable functionality with the CableLabs certified devices. This certification facilitates consumer choice, widespread deployment of new technologies, and lower costs to both cable operators and consumers. In addition to the certification, it also has DOCSIS 3.0 which makes it four times faster than DOCSIS 2.0. The NETGEAR CMD31T-100NAS 153.6 Mbps Modem provides the one Gigabit Ethernet port, which offers the fastest wired speeds to connect to your router for Wi-Fi connection or directly to your computer via a cable. This Ethernet port comes with auto-sensing technology, making it easy for anyone to use.
