PROTIP: remove ALL RUST AND SAND/WIRE WHEEL ALL BURRS FROM SLOTTED SHAFT BEFORE INSTALLING THIS SEAL. Use the old seal to slide back and forth to check for any hangups on the shaft before using the new one. Apply a generous amount of 20W50 oil on the seal and shaft and work smoothly and slowly. Do not push in the seal with force. Just let it slide on. One way to help make this process easy, is to use a heat gun...NOT TOO HOT

The new item did not have a spring in the bulb as the picture described, but after contacting the dealer, he explained that he had contacted Stihl, and the new part is OEM, but they no longer are shipping with the spring inside. I recommended that the dealer revise the description of the part to say that the NEW STIHL part does not have a spring in it. This is a good value for a genuine part.

When the Louziana USPS froze my package in Shreveport the shipper stayed in contact with me. And even gave me a refund even though the package being multiple days hung up by tge postal service. I will definitely be doing more business with you. It arrived today. This had nothing to do with you Mower Parts. Our Louziana postal service botched this shipment
