If you are trying to diagnose a magneto problem by attaching this unit and pulling the starter rope to see the bulb light--forget it. Never saw the bulb light until the engine actually started. Did try the unit on two other mowers that worked perfectly and received the same result--no bulb light on rope pull of engine.
