The auger snake broke after one use (the spring unscrewed itself from the metal rod and I tried to repair it and overtightened it and it distorted the spring).The end of the spring attached to the rod is sharp and I cut my hand on it - I had to file it down to make it safe to use. I'm happy with the purchase as I successfully unblocked my toilet.

However, I found I could get the brush into a tight turn from my shower and along to the wall. Blockage cleared and unlike expensive bottles of drain cleaner, I can keep using the snake.
