Would recommend they enclose items like this in bubble wrap secured with shipping tape before putting in a flimsy bag. See picture of punch sticking through torn bag, amazed it made it.

I'm assuming it worked it's way out of the hole. I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement quickly. So this was a great transaction. Thank you to the seller.
