The painting was not expensive at all, try to buy it somewhere else and you pay at least double the price, especially for a painting about Jerusalem subject. You bought a second hand vintage painting, not a new painting, i do not see any problem that it was stretch on a stretcher before. Slava paintings are all look rough and thick impasto sometimes and blurred.
