Always was the latest updated model. Nice AC alarm clock with battery backup. My only nitpick is that the LCD display is too bright. I'm only using this as a clock for my living room so the bright display is no big deal, but as a bedroom alarm clock the brightness might annoy some trying to get to sleep. My suggestion is that Acurite should consider adding an LCD dimming switch.

I think they did their best, under the circumstances, but need to rectify the shipping problem.

I'm assuming it worked it's way out of the hole. I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement quickly. So this was a great transaction. Thank you to the seller.
