Filmmaker Daron Ker explores American biker culture as seen through the eyes of The Fryed Brother Band, a musical duo that was born of tragedy, but gradually evolved to become a crucial component of that culture and the freedom it represents. They may be notorious for their rowdy behavior and their ear-splitting engines, but the fact remains that the biker's status as a symbol of freedom in America is unmatched by almost any other social group - mobile or otherwise. Growing up in Sacramento, California, brothers Harry and Tommy Fryed were inspired to form The Fryed Brothers Band as a means of paying tribute to their brother Mark. That was 1980, and in the three decades that followed, The Fryed Brothers Band has been a fixture at some of the biggest biker events across America, often sharing the stage with such luminaries as Leon Russell, Billy Idol, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, and Waylon Jennings. In this documentary, we get the unique opportunity to see biker culture from the inside out, and to hear directly from some of its most colorful and outspoken supporters, including Nelson and Hell's Angels founding member Sonny Barger.
