Double vinyl LP pressing. Hypnotize is the fifth studio album by Armenian American heavy metal band System of a Down. It was released on November 22, 2005, six months after the release of it's companion album Mezmerize. Mezmerize and Hypnotize both debuted at number #1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, making the band one of the few to achieve this with two albums in the same year. Hypnotize was System of a Down's last studio album before their four-year hiatus from August 2006 to November 2010 and is still their most recent album. System of a Down is from Glendale, California, formed in 1994. The band achieved commercial success with the release of five studio albums, three of which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. System of a Down has been nominated for four Grammy Awards.

    Great seller and item exactly as described. Buy without hesitation. My ire is reserved for EBay international postage and Royal Mail. Despite not being that cheap, it took nearly three weeks for the parcel to arrive…and took RM over a week to get it to me once it was in the UK. At two points it seemed to disappear into a black hole. If you have any other international postage option…use it!

For me, this SACD is the best digital representation of this album, revealing detail that I have not heard before. For example, on the track “Kid Charlemagne,” the horns have terrific extension, and I heard detail that I had not heard before. Vocals & instrumentation are clear and well-defined throughout. Outstanding seller & SACD!

    "The track "Kid Charlemagne,"" should have been "the track, "The Caves of Altamira,"" For the track "Kid Charlemagne," I meant to compliment (to my ears) the extra definition of the guitar.
