Product Information
Parker Brothers' classic board game makes its PlayStation 2 debut with a number of new twists to the core strategic play. Battles take place in a cinematic fashion amidst 3D locales as players consult with historic leaders for tips on conquering the world. Players can also earn medals and extra dice by achieving certain goals while invading countries. Three modes of play include Classic, Mission Risk, and Capital Risk, each with various options to help customize the game. <br><br>Up to six players vie for global conquest by alternating turns, or solo generals can choose from ten computer opponents with distinct voices and playing styles. Rounding out the list of features are a Tutorial mode for those new to Risk and an option to "spin" the dice rather than having the numbers automatically crunched by the computer.
