In my application the male end of the adapter does seem to click in place but comes out easily unlike a micro sd card. Other reviews have mentioned this. It would be good for some applications where the slot is not mobile.

Actually I could do with it being a little longer but that is no fault of this cable which works perfectly. Arrived quickly and would be happy to deal with this seller again. Search now on for a longer one!
