The Protonic Energy Car is one of six Planet Hot Wheels Energy Cars that come packaged with special software and access to the virtual racing tracks at www.PlanetHotWheels.com. Players who go to the site and enter the Energy Car code included in the package take control of a virtual version of their Hot Wheels car that can be raced online. Both speed races and demolition derbies are available to online drivers, with points awarded to the winners. Points can be spent at the site's "mechanic shop" to purchase new brakes, tailpipes, engines, and other parts. Mattel promises the excitement of online racing against other human players in a safe, kid-friendly environment at www.Planet HotWheels.com. The website is designed to be easy to access and, with the user's permission, will automatically install files to allow users to play the game.

    This was a shockingly bad experience. I bought this item 3 weeks ago. The seller wouldn't respond to multiple messages when I was trying to find out when it would ship. At one point about a week ago they finally responded and said they would ship it that evening - they did not. When I finally pressed the issue with them today (after more unanswered messages), they just refunded the order instead of shipping (although they said it was packed). Total waste of time and energy. Terrible service.
