The CPU temperature quickly and unexpectedly spiked at low loads leading to CPU throttling and a constantly noisy fan. After removing and replacing the old, dried thermal compound between the CPU and thermal block temperatures were as I would expect. Otherwise the appearance was as described. Reasonable value for money, but this should have been caught and fixed before shipping.

During setup, I encountered a problem with the screen so I reached out to Australian Computer Traders and the service was amazing. Problem was resolved quickly, professionally and without incident. I highly recommend these guys, I'm sure what happened to me was a rare event, but they stand by their product and after sales service was outstanding.
