They are extremely difficult to puncture unlike padded paper envelopes. If you are shipping unbreakable items like gloves, socks, clothing this is the way to go. For ten years I have used padded envelopes at costs up to 45 cents each and these tear resistant envelopes cost penny's on the dollar and protect my products excellently. They are self seal which saves time taping. I started out buying 100 and my second order was 500.

I made the mistake of ordering others from another company because they were cheaper price, but they were also very cheap quality and thinner see thru poly mailers.
