The Midland LXT600VP3 radios have up to a 30-mile range, and 121 privacy codes that can generate over 2500 channel options to keep conversations private. The radios have a voice-activated option and 3 hands-free modes for use in complex situations. Other features include keypad lock, silent operation, and battery life extender for safe, long-term power. This radio comes with a suite of accessories that include charger and belt clips. The Midland LXT600VP3 Two Way Radio is suitable for camping, hiking, large event staff, or any outdoor activity where long distance communication would be valued. The range of the Midland LXT600VP3 Two Way Radio is as much as 30 miles in ideal conditions with little or no other radio or wireless interference, and no concrete, metal, or other dense obstacles between users. In a populated urban environment, the effective range is typically less than 0.5 miles. Channel dispersion for the LXT600VP3 is 22 standard channels and 14 extra channels, for a total of 36 total channels. The Midland LXT600VP3 radio can be powered by either the rechargeable battery pack (included in the accessories), or by 3 AAA batteries. This handheld two-way radio has 5 selectable call tones, Roger beep tone, channel scan, auto squelch, Out-Of-Range tone, a Hi/Low power setting, and a backlit LCD display. The Hi/Low power setting lets the user switch to low power to save battery life when communication is within a smaller range, such as on a car lot, or at a small park. The Midland LXT600VP3 Two Way Radio has a built-in NOAA weather radio channel, weather scan, and a NOAA weather alert feature. The keypad lock helps prevent accidental calls or noises, and a low battery meter lets the user know when charging or fresh batteries are needed. The Midland LXT600VP3 Two Way Radio has audible beep buttons, a fixed antenna, and is water resistant. This device and the accessories are RoHS/lead-free compliant, and it has a speaker/mic/charger jack. Silent operation mutes beeps and tones. The Midland LXT600VP3 2-Way Radio accessories include 2 radios, 2 belt clips, 2 rechargeable battery packs, an A/C wall adapter, owner’s manual, and a desktop charger.
