Product Information
Like many other classic board games before it, Backgammon now enters the third dimension with Battlegammon. Without changing any of the traditional rules, Battlegammon offers 2D and fully 3D boards, six different styles of pieces, three different sets, and a number of play features such as save games, gambling and a "take back" option. It also contains three three-dimensional settings (Gothic Castle Sphere, Desert Canyon Sphere and Space Pod Wreckage Sphere), as well as a number of various animations to represent piece captures. Multi-player is available via "hot seat" play and the single-player mode includes three difficulty levels for players of varying skills. A short but concise manual explains the rules of traditional Backgammon, offers basic tips and includes information on the scoring and gambling aspects of Battlegammon.
