It is made in china by a factory that Cummins has controlling interest in. One of the indicators is that it has the blead hole at the base a safety feature that could save your engine if the seal fails. There are many fakes on ebay they don't work, the pressures wrong or don't last. This is the real thing BUY THIS ONE
