I did need to put an extra piece of wood underneath as my desk was a little thin, but this did the job perfectly. The arm feels really sturdy and creates much more space on my desk. I have 28" and a 27" hp monitors side by side now easy to put together and looks great .. my desk is pretty thin so I advise putting an extra bit of wood underneath to allow for extra depth when tightning screw but I would reccomend this product to anyone nowhere to upload a picture to show but very happy customer here..
