The screen, though small can be clearly read. These pictures show it dimmed for nighttime, but it can be set much brighter, as there are several different settings. It comes with a handbook, which is necessary as there are so many buttons! The alarm wokrs, as does the DAB radio, which in all honestly are all I need it for.

It also comes with a good quality aerial, rather than a flimsy piece of wire. The wireless tone is much better than cheaper bedside radios. I think I am going to enjoy this bedside radio alarm!
