I had to cut those off for it to fit in the pump assembly, but it worked great and plugged in just fine to the old connector. It is much louder than the OEM pump, but at least you can hear it run, though it's possible my OEM pump has been partially plugged up since I bought the 2002 prairie 650 used, and that's why it was quieter. Hopefully it lasts.

Seller was quick to brush me off regardless of my brief initial miscommunication. I had it confirmed by the mfg. of the kit I was sold that it was INCORRECTLY listed for my motorcycles make and model. (Therefor couldn’t honor warranty) as it isn’t a warranty issue. Worst experience of online purchase. Below is a picture of the fuel pressure regulators one OEM and the other from the kit obviously not the same.
