It means alot. Yes, the manufacturing date printed on the battery is an interesting date that may lead to some confusion for consumers, distributers and sellers alike. The lag times between this date and other dates associated w packing, shipping, restocking in USA, and the date the item is available for sale can be upwards of a year and a half, maybe more, depending on many factors.
