Product Information
Madden NFL 2001 brings the long-running Madden series to the PlayStation 2, combining its tried-and-true gameplay formula with realistic visuals and a wealth of options. Franchise, create-a-player and season modes are available, with the newest addition being "The Madden Challenge," a set of goals (such as throwing a 40-yard pass or making four completions in a row) that can be completed during a game to earn Madden points. These points can then be spent to unlock new players, cheats and additional stadiums. All the NFL teams and players are accounted for, and for the first time, actual coaches are included on the sidelines.
