The Tasmanian tiger, the dreamtime yowie, the bunyip and feral panthers - all these animals are supposedly extinct, legendary or don't exist in Australia. However, they have all been sighted, left footprints and killed animals, but none have been shot or trapped. There are areas where mystery animals have been sighted in every part of Australia, including: Tasmanian tigers throughout Tasmania and the mainland, yowies in the Brindabella Mountains outside Canberra, the Emmaville panther and the Kingstown killer in northern NSW, the Tallong tiger in NSW's Southern Highlands, the Grampians puma and the Ozenadnook tiger in Victoria, and in Queensland the marsupial tiger in the Cape York jungles and yowies in the Lamington National Park, plus bunyips throughout southeastern Australia. This book, the result of 20 years of joint research by the authors, analyzes all the evidence - eyewitness testimonies, Aboriginal legends, stories handed down by pioneers, forensic evidence, photographs, sketches, paw prints - for these mysterious creatures.
