Sideshow Collectibles’ exclusive Baroness Sixth Scale Figure, part of the toy manufacturer’s collectible G.I. Joe action figures range (licensed by Hasbro), is a lifelike rendition of the character, complete with billowing hair and a tailored fabric body suit. Paying homage to the fan favorite from the COBRA hierarchy of characters – the antagonistic figures within the G.I. Joe heroes’ world – this sixth scale action figure from Sideshow strikes a pose that is both imposing and alluring, befitting of Cobra Commander’s right-hand person and chief architect of COBRA’s terrorist activities. The character of Baroness was added to the G.I. Joe comics and toys lineup in 1982, when she appeared in the very first issue of Marvel’s G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero comic book series. With her flowing black hair, all-black bodysuit and disarmingly quaint black-rimmed spectacles, she was an instant hit – a beautiful yet deadly femme fatale portrayed by Sienna Miller in the movie “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra,” in which she was Cobra Commander’s wife. According to this G.I. Joe character’s back story, Baroness was born Anastasia Cisarovna to aristocratic parents in Europe. Coming to associate herself first with student protests and radicalism, then in more extreme groups and international terrorism, Cisarovna was probably trained as a spy, becoming skilled in cryptography, PSYOPS, and biochemical weaponry as well as weapons and military vehicles such as the M-16, Uzi, H.I.S.S. tank, helicopters, and other aircraft. During her career with COBRA, Baroness was severely burned and required plastic surgery to restore her beauty. This, Baroness’s most obvious attribute, is juxtaposed with her violence, mirroring the many contrasts inherent in the rest of her personality – her cynicism and romanticism, and her deviousness and naivety, being among them. This special edition G.I. Joe Baroness Sixth Scale Figure from Sideshow Collectibles’ COBRA range is fully articulated and posable and comes with all of the striking costume pieces and armor that make the character so recognizable. In addition to her bodysuit, the collectible sixth scale action figure from Sideshow also comes with detailed body armor and holsters, as well as a pair of stunning, no-nonsense heeled boots. Suitable for posing and displaying in the manner of your choice, the G.I. Joe Baroness Sixth Scale Figure from Sideshow Collectibles comes with a set of different gloved hands, each designed for different accessories or poses. These include fists and flat hands. The Baroness sixth scale action figure also comes with an alternate head with a different hairstyle – specifically, one not windswept to the side – and round glasses. Weapons included with the action figure are the Bull pup Assault Rifle, Knife, and Sub-machine pistol. Measuring approximately 12 inches in height and weighing between 3 and 4 pounds, the G.I. Joe Baroness Sixth Scale Figure, exclusive to Sideshow Collectibles, comes in an attractive box with information about the character and is a must-have for G.I.
