She delights in mixing and moving between genres. Heresies and Sweet Basil is a retrospect of a simpler time. Professionally, she negotiated and ultimately thrived as an independent school English teacher, counselor and curriculum developer. Naylor's students have had their work featured in many publications and have won numerous writing awards. In addition to teaching creative writing she initiated student peer-to-peer counseling, mediation and AIDS Ed training programs. She now lives in Coral Springs, Florida and savors her time as a life coach, writer, editor and speaker.
