If your bushing is wearing out after several months are only 3 reasons: incorrectly installed; wear or problems with the pin or cable ends; And the third is there is major oil or fluid leaks onto the cable. Considering that the G6 was last produced in 2009 one of these issues likely is present. Please reach out for your warranty!
