They were delivered a day early and they work great. Be aware that (unlike most transceivers) there is no screen to show the usual status issues; e.g. volume, channel, etc. But, status is reported verbally when the units are powered on, so not a problem. The lack of a "roger" tone makes these the only option for an Orthodox synagogue, where electronic devices, not to mention loud "roger" tones, are not permitted on Shabbot.

Retevis is an established company, with offices in the USA. All the Retevis items I've purchased have been well-built and good quality. They go the extra mile to satisfy their customers. My order of this particular item had a problem in shipping. I contacted Retevis,; they responded promptly and resolved the problem.

Radios look and feel great even though listed as refurbished. Two of the batteries for the radios seem to have completely died when received package but was able to contact the seller and they were able to make it right by sending out some replacments.
