Product Information
Travel back in time to Mayan civilization as its end grows near in 'Apocalypto,' a beautifully filmed, yet intense drama directed by Mel Gibson. In an effort to preserve their lifestyle, there is a call to increase the number of human sacrifices to appease the Mayan gods. This leads to the abduction of Jaguar Paw during a raid of the village he lives in with his wife and son. The young hunter is a peaceful man, but to save his and his family's lives, he must use his skills to make a bloody escape from his captors and the sacrificial alter. Based on Mayan text, this brutal movie comes in a widescreen format to enhance the movie's stunning imagery.
