I don't see how a 1/16 of an inch notch is going to hold even the lightest item on house or garage? It's no wonder I did not see these on any of the other sites I checked. I am so disappointed. When I try them I'll be right there, ready to catch my item when it falls. I simply do not inderstand these hooks, at all. They claimed "vinyl siding hook hangers w/screw hole". These are not for vinyl siding! They must be screwed in.
