Originally debuting on NBC in September 1986, MATLOCK became a staple of prime time and syndicated TV, and a cultural phenomenon amongst the show's devoted fan base. Andy Griffith portrays Ben Matlock, a well-to-do, Harvard-educated Atlanta defense attorney who combines the deductive skills of a legal shark with his brand of folksy, down-home southern charm. Matlock works for individuals unjustly accused of criminal activity, and attempts to prove their innocence in court - which he often does via astonishing last minute evidence inducted into the proceedings. Included in this special box set are all 195 episodes from the 9 seasons of MATLOCK.
