Had to trim chute slot to fit the bracket. It also does not fit deck contour tightly in the upper aft section resulting in grass accumulation around the spindle on that side. It does direct most of the cut grass back to the lawn so that the operator is not exposed to cut grass on windy days. The chute also covers the entire deck opening thus eliminating accidental contact with the swirling blade.

My JD GT 245 lawnmower hood was delivered in a timely manner and was in good shape. One thing I didn’t receive was the yellow and green side stripes for the hood. I contacted the seller, and he promised me he would send them, as they were on back order. I may have been let down before from other sellers, but this one came through and I received the stripes today. What a joy! I will definitely recommend Kumar Bros to all my friends😎💪
