Synopsis
Dwight Johnson is a new medic with the 173d Airborne Brigade, and green as hell. Despite this, he becomes an instant hero during a sapper attack on his first night at the base camp. Oddly, when he awakens the next morning, he remembers neither the attack nor what he did to achieve such status. It came quickly and the packaging was done with extreme care which I appreciated because this is an older book. The seller took great care in bubble wrap but also a specific cellophane sleeve to put the book in and then put it in a very padded envelope so not even a corner was affected.
