PURPOSE: The purpose of this program is to help you learn self-hypnosis to produce an effective relaxation response in a short period of time. The guided trancework sessions are progressively arranged from longer more comprehensive sessions to decreasingly shorter sessions. The goal is to progressively improve your ability to rapidly produce an effective relaxation response so that by the time you have used each session a few times, you have taught or conditioned your mind-body to relax in less than ten minutes whenever you choose to do so. The \'Foundation for Hypnosis\' session is the longest at 29:27 minutes in length. Each guided trancework session thereafter becomes progressively shorter in length but is intended to produce the same result... effective relaxation response. By the time your practice or use reaches the \'Starry Night\' session you are relaxing in about 5 minutes. The very last track is \'Relax to Sleep\' and does not include any alerting or arousing suggestions at the end so you can use it to drift into sleep when you want your relaxation response to continue into sleep.
