Shipping box was narrower than jewelry box, so jewelry box was turned on its side, thus easily opened (because it was not tapped shut), expensive piece fell to the bottom of the shipping box and slid around during transit. Due to the high quality of construction of Heidi’s pieces, fortunately it survived and remained undamaged.
