The Polk Audio GXR69 is comprised of a woofer, midrange, and a tweeter. The tweeter on this three-way automotive speaker is 0.5 inches in diameter, while the midrange is 1.5 inches. This Polk Audio 9.81-inch car speaker includes a DuraLam cone, which is made from silicone treated lacquered fiber material that is lightweight yet durable and waterproof. The outside of the Polk Audio GXR69 is surrounded by a layer of butyl rubber, which prevents this device from being harmed from the weather elements, drops, nicks, or scratches. This three-way automotive speaker has an impedance of 4 Ohm, and has a continuous power handling of 70 watts, with a maximum power handling of 175 watts. The minimum frequency this Polk Audio 9.81-inch car speaker responds to is 50 Hz, while the maximum frequency that gets picked up is 21 kHz. With a sensitivity of 93 dB, the user is able to hear all the subtle detail and tones in her music without having to turn the volume up to ear-damaging levels.
