Product Information
As indicated in the title, the player takes command of a U.S. Navy Destroyer in this Ubi Soft release from Ultimation and Strategic Simulations. The game follows the entire course of the Second World War, with missions and campaigns taking place in both the Atlantic and Pacific as the Allied Navy battles the warships of Germany, Italy, and Japan. A scenario editor allows players to create and recreate their own versions of historical WWII conflicts.<br><br>The game features accurate, working models of every U. S. Destroyer on duty during the World War II. Players can engage in single-battle scenarios or play through an entire campaign, perhaps even changing the course of virtual history through their efforts. Destroyer Command is also designed to "inter-operate" with Ultimation's Silent Hunter II naval battle sim, significantly broadening the gameplay options and context of conflict.

Only thing of note was that the seller mentioned in the details of the listing "I do not see any chips or cracks" though the large polar bear has a broken right foot that appears to have been glued back on. I notice it now when looking back at the listings pictures, but failed to notice it before purchase and am disappointed that it wasn't noted by seller.

If it wasn't a beautiful art book wouldn't have cared at all, but it is a gorgeous, collectible piece meant to be displayed on a shelf. However, I got it for a truly great price, it was packaged very securely with an over abundance of padding, and it arrived quickly, so I will not complain.
