Grab Your Coat is Rose & Thistle's second release. This CD is packed with some of your favorite Irish tunes; traditional, standards and five of the band's own originals. Members Joan & Mike Quinlan, along with fiddler Zach Miller deliver an enjoyable foot-stomping time with this CD. There's lots of rhythmic percussion, harmonica and hard driving fiddle. Be sure to check out Zach's fiddling on such songs as; Poitin Shebeen, Weigh the Anchor, South Australia, Bonny Ship the Diamond and Drunken Sailor. Wendy Donahue host of Cleveland Celtic Podcast describes the bands original tunes as reminding her of early Gaelic Storm and The Glengarry Bhoys!
