I bought a car model kit and the roof was crushed on one side. I contacted the seller and we discussed me returning the item. I found out that shipping something back to the seller can be more expensive than the initial purchase. I asked for a discount and he was very generous to give me a great discount for what had happened and saved me the hassle of returning the model kit. USPS messed up shipping - it came from 1 state away from me, the first day it arrived in my state, then was shipped to Idaho (+6 states away), then back to my state.
