USPS beat the shipping box a bit, but the inner packaging was more than enough to absorb the abuse. Unpacked the instrument, inspected, installed batteries, attached a Geiger-muller probe and turned it on. Geiger counter responded like it was still 1965 (the year it was made). Makes a nice addition to my instrument collection.
