This is my second SV225, bought first for grand daughter, and so impressed, bout one for myself. Very compact folded up, will even fit into SV212 padded scope bag. Shorter than most with legs not extended, but good for me extended half way. If too short for you, put a $40 SW pier on it for 8” more height. For hers, i paired it with the SV225 altaz mount, another top notch piece of design and execution. Even Ed Ting agrees, in his latest YT channel review.
