Marty Higgins was born and raised in a town just north of Philadelphia called maple glen was easily swayed into music with his mothers late night piano playing and a vinyl collection like the beach boys the beatles chuck berry and later on michael McDonald were just some of the artists that hit him like a cool summer breeze yet with the power of a tidal wave and even thought he didn't stsrt playing guitar until he was twenty two years old it grabbed him like an old friend in a crowed room of strangers the heart of town that's the debut record from the harmonies to the lap steel to the swaying cello this is a stripped down sound that clings to your soul recorded in clementon n. j. in a basement of someones home there was no better place to lay these songs down as they are stories of ther own of love and loss and a hope that keeps coming back as it is honest it is real and in two years in the making it's a refreshing listen to someone who still believes music can make a difference.

It arrived very quickly and was packaged superbly. However upon opening the package I found that only one of the two cds had been shipped. I reached out to the seller to make them aware of the problem. They quickly responded and took responsibility for the mistake. Moreover they immediately refunded my money no other questions asked. These days it’s rare to find a seller that puts the customer first!!!
